Yes, finally the client is here.
Some notes before downloading though..

You cannot make your characters yet or login. The login and game servers are NOT ONLINE.
If your on a fast connection you should use bit torrent!
If your on a slow one, direct or bit torrent work (both support resume downloading)
There will be FOUR servers. West coast with PvE and PvP servers and East coast also with PvE and PvP servers.
If you use the direct download client, there is a bug. It sometimes slows down/stops completely and you have to pause/resume downloading to get it to work again.

how will people kno which one to choose? will it specifically say this is a PVP server?

which server is a NORMAL server? lol. like oracle and delphi

According to ambition its something like this:

East - PvP
East - PvE
West - PvP
West - PvE

When you download the client, boot it up and click the server list and check. My eta is between 3 and 21 days.

East/West is where the servers are located. So if you live in Cali, go for West for the best connection. East is for like New Yorkers

Interesting concept. Kinda weird to divide though. Like they are trying to create competition.

I'm getting 300-800kbs (7:19PM PST) on direct download. Got to many porns downloading on bt so can't use it. =P

Once i get this thing downloaded. I'll upload it into megaupload (break it into pieces using 7zip)

i dont get how they're trying to create a competition. maybe they just have 2 locations, one on the east coast and one on the west coast, and they're trying to make it faster for the players, which i think is a great idea. Kinda blizzard like.

Its confirmed that all 4 servers are in the same location, just optimized for the different coasts.

Where is their office located? in the west coast? if it is, then its great for me cause im closer to the east coast.

I got my friend doing 200 meg pieces to filefront since you can still use download managers there.

Is PW CB better than MY or is there any major difference in them??

PW-IN, wat for go through so much trouble for closed beta... It is more appropiate to do this after their full launch.

i'm still confused guys about the pvp and pve servers..... which server is like oracle and delphi?

and wot's so different about the pvp and pve? is one server just only goin to allow pvp people?

the PvP server will be like oracle and delphi.

PvE you will be able to choose whether or not your able to be pked.

I just finished mine last night. What's your friend using to split the files? Or is he just uploading into one large file? I like megaupload cuz it's super fast when you download.

I'm using HJsplit 2.3 to split the files into 300mb files each.

I think megaupload lets you download 1 gig every hour. 1 file at a time though.

Solid block size: Solid

End result: 12 pieces split into 200 megabyte (204,000 KiloByte) packages

Filefront does allow download managers which is why im having him upload there.
