5 minute cleric guide :D
Okay, this database is going to be a large assortment on the Cleric class, ranging from builds, skills, and armor/weaps ;D
Don’t underestimate the power of a cleric. We’re deadly!
***Announcement: College started back up, and as for now I’ve quit PW, so this database is going to stay as it is, unless somebody wishes to revive it seeing as it’s helping many people.***

Healing Skills -
Blessing of the Purehearted:
Level 1 – Bless the target to recover 35 HP plus 4% of your base magic attack.
Level 10 -Bless the target to recover 665 HP plus 40% of your base magic attack.
~~ It’s nice, but not worth it, too slow to cast ~~
Ironheart Blessing:
Level 1 – Bless the target to recover 84 HP plus 3% of your base magic attack over 15 seconds.
Level 10 - Bless the target to recover 714 HP plus 30% of your base magic attack over 15 seconds.
~~ One of the best heals you will ever get. FAC and FS both agree ~~
Wellspring Surge:
Level 1 – Rapidly recovers target’s HP, recovering 80 plus 2% of your base magic attack.
Level 10 – Rapidly recovers target’s HP, recovering 350 plus 20% of your base magic attack.
~~ Useful later on for a quick heal, but mainly for FS ~~
Revive:
Level 1 – Revive a squad member. Decreases potential experience loss from dying by 0%. Revived target will come back with 10% of total HP and MP.
Level 10 - Revive a squad member. Decreases potential experience loss from dying by 90%. Revived target will come back with 10% of total HP and MP.
~~ Controversial, get it if you want to help people ~~
Purify:
Level 1 – Remove all negative effects on one friendly target
Level 10 - Remove all negative effects on one friendly target
~~ Increase in levels only decreases the cooldown, and gives larger range ~~
Soon, the Light:
Level 1 – Heals squad members within 11 meters radius of you. Recovers HP equal to 530 plus 11% of your base magic attack.
Level 10 – Heals squad members within 20 meters radius of you. Recovers HP equal to 1070 plus 20% of your base magic attack.
Stream of Rejuvenation:
Level 1 – Heal the target’s HP, recovering 690 plus 23% of your base magic attack and and additional 690 HP over 15 seconds
Level 10 – Heal the target’s HP, recovering 1230 plus 50% of your base magic attack and and additional 1230 HP over 15 seconds.
Regeneration Aura:
Level 1 -
Focus your empathatic energy to heal squad members within 15 meters of you. Use 500 mana every 5 seconds to recover HP equal to 300 plus 20% of base magic attack every 5 seconds and cut magic damage taken by 50%. Skill will not stop until click Cancel or press ESC.
***Caclulating the ” plus x% of base magic attack “***
Say for example you’re a level 50, and you have 2000 magic attack. You use a level 10 Ironheart Blessing on someone. Take your 2000 magic attack in a calculator, and then hit the minus button, and hit (since we used level 10 Ironheart) 30, then hit the % button, and DO NOT PRESS EQUAL! When you press the % button, a number will show up, and thats what 30% of your magic attack is, add that number with how much the skill heals, and now you have how much you heal for that skill.
It would look like this, 2000-30%=650 ///714 +650=1364 hp healed over 15 seconds.
Buff Skills -
Vanguard Spirit:
Level 1 - Grant the target additional physical defense equal to 15% of equipment value for 30 minutes.
Level 10 – Grant the target additional physical defense equal to 60% of equipment value for 30 minutes.
~~ A must max, who doesn’t want more defense? ~~
Magic Shell:
Level 1 - The target’s equipment gives 15% extra magic defense for 30 minutes.
Level 10 – The target’s equipment gives 60% extra magic defense for 30 minutes.
~~ Useful for later on, when most mobs become magic ~~
Celestial Guardian’s Seal:
Level 1 – Increase target’s health and mana regeneration rate by 1 per second for 30 minutes
Level 10 – Increase target’s health and mana regeneration rate by 10 per second for 30 minutes.
~~ Max if you’re FS, but otherwise just max it in your 90′s when you got tons of spirit ~~
Spirit’s Gift:
Level 1 - Increase the target’s weapon magic attack bonus by 25% for 30 minutes.
Level 10 - Increase the target’s weapon magic attack bonus by 70% for 30 minutes.
~~ ALWAYS useful! Who doesn’t want 70% MORE magic attack! ~~
Main Priority skills:

Great Cyclone
Ironheart Blessing
Vanguard Spirit
Magic Shell
Spirit’s Gift
Celestial Guardian’s Seal
Revive

Spirit’s Gift gives a high starting percentage of extra magic attack for 30 minutes!
Celestial Guardian’s Seal keeps your hp and mp regenerating at a certain rate,
Vanguard Spirit (which will be your first maxed buff) at max level gives you 60% extra def equal to your armors def. so for example you have 100 def, and you cast max vanguard…60% of 100 is 60 so it would be your 100 + 60 for that 30 minutes ;D
Magic shell increases magic defense (which is very useful later on
)
Secondary Priority:
Flying Mastery (Has it’s uses in flying fast across the map, but mainly for PK’ing)
Party Buffs:
Greater Protective Aura ~ Once you max Vanguard Spirit, you can put 1 point on this skill. It’s the same but lasts for a hour in party.

As a magic class, it’s best for you to use Arcane armor! (And girls, it’s very revealing tehe!)
When buying arcane armor look for:
- Hp – Omg..this is your BFF for LIFE! Always find armor with Hp, what would you be without hp?
Mana – A little extra mana was never complained about
All-Resist – Make sure you find armor that gives resists to all elements.
Physical Resist – Again, a cleric is a magic class. Magic + physical hits = BAD!!
Arcane armor:
Level 01 – 04
Level 05 – 10
Level 12 – 18
Level 20 – 26
Level 30 – 36
Level 40 – 46
Level 50 – 56
Level 60 – 66
Level 70 – 76
Level 80 – 86
Very cute!
[break=Page 3]
Clerics use weapons, which of course are magical! Clerics can use:
- Magic Swords
Patakas
Wands
I put a bold by the Magic Sword, because later on at about level 60, you can get a powerful legendary magic sword that lasts you for quite a long while.
The other two are used in and out between alternating levels so that way you’ll get a feel of them all.

Personal Stats:
Name: LadyTwilight
Level: 54
STR: 34
VIT: 5
DEX: 5
MAG: 250+
Basically you wanna have enough STR to wear your armor and weapons (Very important!
)
At my level, I only need about 34 strength, so add Strength as you need it ![]()
As for me, I went hybrid, but some people call my specific build as a “Glass Cannon” – meaning I hit hard, but I break easily.
*Note* – The higher your MAG is, the more effective your heals and attacks become! ![]()
*Note* ALWAYS DO YOUR QUESTS! GRIND EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO!
Strength (STR): Add it as you need it for your current armor and weapons.
Vitality (VIT): Leave it at it’s base if you want to be a glass cannon, but add more if you think you need it.
Dexterity (DEX): Don’t add any to this, the amount needed for 1% crit isn’t worth it. It will be better off in MAG.
Magic (MAG): Put as many points as you can possibly put here! It’s your mana pool and damage! ![]()
Builds~
Arcane Build:
Dex: None
Vit: None
Str: Enough for weapons/armor
Mag: Majority here.
You’ll be superior in using your spells, however you’ll die extremely fast. Party-Dependant
Light Armor Build:
Dex: Enough for armor
Vit: A little bit for survival
Str: Enough for armor
Mag: Rest goes here.
You can resist both magical and physical attacks quite nicely, but your magic attacks suffer from loss of mag. Party/Solo
Heavy Armor Build: I don’t reccomend this..But….
Dex: Majority goes here (Armor purposes)
Vit: Majority goes here (Health to withstand hits)
Str: Majority goes here (Physical Damage/Armor/Weapons)
Mag: Very little here.
You can withstand a ton of hits, but in turn you don’t do that much damage either.

There are a few pros and cons in this guide, but honestly cons are more. I will point out later after i got back from an errand.
Moved it back here since you have plans to add a lot more.
Tyt :3
Since this is a 5 minutes guide, there’s no point making it too long :p
I have gone through the guide and here are a few pros i must compliment:
1)Arcane armor(INT set) should always be the choice of Clerics. However a guide like this should also provide some information about other armor builds as well.
In short i would say that to be a strong cleric, both in PK and parties, arcane is the best shot. However, it will require very high upgrades and high rank soul stones. Light armor builds offer cheaper path to be strong, although you will lose out to a arcane user later when both have the same upgrades and soul stones. Heavy armor could be the cheapest, but only last for some time. You will find it very difficult when you approach higher levels and got involved in PKs.
2)I have no idea why you marked the magic sword in the weapons, but if you are trying to point out that it should be the primary choice among other magic weapon type, then well done. Note that the strongest HH weapon is a magic sword, and it offers a moderately high and small range of magic attacks, it makes your attacks consistent and powerful.
3)All element resist is not a very important concern if you are using dungeon suits, but it will be an important element for random stat equipments.
These are the pros i could find in the guide. I will now point out the cons. Maybe i misunderstood some text in the guide so i would like to apologize here if i have done so.
Cons:
1)When purchasing arcane armor:
< [b:1rpx2kvp]>Forget about mana recovery, instead look for PHY defense and HP.< [/b:1rpx2kvp]>
Reason:We cannot deny the fact that as a cleric, people not only expect your buffs but your healing as well. A cleric is virtually useless in a party if he/she never learns a healing skill. As you level up and going higher, you will notice that bosses later in the game will constantly deal area damage to your party members, and these damage are all the time deadly to several classes. A magic area damage can kill Blademasters and Barbarians after a few hits even with charms, and Physical damage can kill, or during extreme conditions 1 hit ko the clerics and archers as well. At this time you will need to use the Regeneration Aura skill, an area healing skill + 50% damage reduction blessing to all party members within radius. This skill is an array skill, which means it goes on continuously until the cleric cancel the skill, the cleric suffered stun or seal effect or the cleric ran out of mana. Now this skill consumes mana continuously when being cast, and no cleric can stand without charms after 5 minutes or so, 4 minutes being my best time. And when you encounter bosses like the 89FB dungeon quest boss, you will certainly take more than 5 minutes to kill it. Which is why mana regen has virtually no use in this case, it simply cannot regen faster than what you are losing.
2)Secondary priority should be pasted as primary. Note that cleric spends a lot of gold to max his/her skills early in the game, but when you have maxed this out you can start earning money in dungeons later. Max buff skills are essential to ensure the survival of the party. The more you maxed it the higher chance your party can survive in dungeons. This also includes healing skills and your method of healing in dungeons.
I once rated some Venomancer skills in another thread, i will do one here as a reference as well. Ratings go up to 5 star, those labeled top priority should be maxed without fail asap.
Blessing of the Purehearted – 1 star(Long cast time, low healing value)
Ironheart Blessing – 5 star, top priority(Fast cast time, fast cool down)
Wellspring Surge – 5 star, top priority(Fast cast time, fast cool down)

Stream of Rejuvenation – 5 star, top priority after lv60(Important when healing tankers. Sometimes the boss itself will deal too much damage until stacked Ironheart + Wellspring would not heal fast enough)
Regeneration Aura- 5 star, top priority(Your party’s survival lies on this when they are in grave danger)
Guardian Light – 3 star
Wings of Protection – 5 star
Heaven’s Wrath – 5 star(In the event of dungeons like HH2-2, this skill is important since it saves time to kill the last squid boss)
Flight Mastery – 5 star(Only max this if you are a PK lover, doesn’t work much in dungeons)

Silence Seal – 5 star
Chromatic Seal – 5 star
Great Cyclone – 5 star, top priority
Thunderball – 2 star
Siren’s Kiss – 5 star
Wield Thunder – 5 star, top priority
Tempest – 5 star, top priority
All buff skills – 5 star, top priority
This looked epic, but is essential to spend. Sometimes even 2 clerics with maxed skills cannot safe a party from being destroyed.
3)Stat builds, VIT is a complete waste. Try practicing fighting and healing yourself constantly. Its a skill you have to master. The Ironheart Blessing allows you to be healed at a duration of time. When it ran out simply cast it again. You will not need the 30 VIT by doing this. HPs should be pushed up by upgrades and soulstones, not stats.
Something useful:
1)Wear helms instead of arcane headgears. Do not bother about how many slots it has, this can be improved later.
2)Wear protection accessories instead of elementals to increase your physical defense. The crescent valley rings and lv99 dungeon boss robe offers high physical defense as well.
3)Although clerics magic attacks are mainly metal, forget about metal damage shards. Instead, slot magic damage stones. The reason is your magic damage are mainly percentage of your base weapon’s magic damage, by slotting magic damage soulstones you increase the percentage damage included, which will definitely be higher than additional metal damages from the shards.
Thats all. A very good try though. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the input, What I meant by a 5 minute guide, was that it took 5 minutes to get the “gist” of it, and I want to make this guide fun and understandable for everyone, something to look back to when you’re stuck
It still needs alot of work done on it to make it what I want it to be, and I appreciate your constructive critisism, It’s a work in progress and it takes time to create a master peice
Once I get the layout done, I can work on other views of being a cleric, instead of it being biased to just “my way” or saying its the “only way”
Uhh..yea..anyways
I’m trying to influence people to try cleric, come out of their comfort zones, try something new, I mean..they might like cleric
Plus we lack clerics in Sanctuary x.x
You might want to take a look at < [url=http://rapidshare.com/files/207657457/FA_EP_Guide_v3.4.PW-INT.pdf:3496a02j]>this< [/url:3496a02j]> build.
An Arcane cleric build does not have to be a glass cannon.
Gem the cloth armor to get your hit points up, and just nuke everything. Rely on Ironheart blessing for self-healing if needed. Don’t waste spirit on carpet heals.
I am currently leveling one, and can generally kill things before they get near me.
You don’t have to be a support cleric … being an evil high priest works quite well. Just be sure people understand that you are a DPS-nuker, and not a party healer.
hi Luna
,..very nice and useful sharing of information,…very useful guide,..
You are incredible! Just wanted to make your day better
I truly appreciate this post.Really looking forward to read more. Fantastic.
Hehehehe! That*s funny that people call it a glass cannon! I got my cleric to level 64 before reading your post but that’s exactly how I did mine. I barely have any vitality and only enough strength to use my weapon and armor and I have 5 dex. My magic is really high. I can’t remember exactly. But, what I hate is, bosses for my level bounty hunts (like BH51 right now)… they kinda kill me in 1 hit! If I don’t have a mystic blessing or a scroll, I have to go back to town and come all the way back to continue helping my squad. That’s the only thing that isn’t good about being so weak. With all my healing power, I can’t even save myself if I’m gonna die in 1 hit.
Even monsters along to the way to the bosses are a challenge for me. If one attacks me, the only way I can stay alive is to keep casting ironheart blessing on myself until a squad member saves me and pulls it off of me lol
I guess I have to wait until I get to higher levels and can have much better armor
And THANK YOU for the guide! It helps a lot !!
Christmas Eve (a.k.a Catholic Girl)
THIS ROCKS BRO!
