Enhancing/Enchanting/Upgrading your weapon

This is not a cheap business. It’s VERY expensive. If you want to have any chance, try to have atleast 1m floating around if enchanting a weapon or 500k for armor.

Now, heres what you need to enchant.
A piece of armor, or a weapon
[Malaysia]Mirage stones (1 for armor, 2 for weapon)
[International] Mirage celestones (1 for armor, 2 for weapon)
An item mall stone (THIS IS OPTIONAL!!!!)

To start, goto an elder. Doesn’t matter which, any of them should work. I used ADC[Malaysia] / Archosaur[International] elder for this example.

Click on the Refine Equipment.

Then youll see this window (minus the stuff ive put in)
s2iy8 Enhancing/Enchanting/Upgrading your weapon

Lets look at that window for a moment. The top box is where you put the item you want in. Then we got some horrible descriptions.
Heres what it should say:

Code:
To enchant you need: (2) Mirage Stones for weapons and (1) Mirage Stone for Armor/Accessories.
The higher the grade the higher the bonus

When enchanting is successful, it will add bonuses to your item.
When enchanting fails, you will lose all enchants on the item.

Below you can use additional items for special effects

Below that it shows the amount needed like:

Code:
Refine the mirage sto 2/20

That means it needs 2 of your 20 mirage stones/mirage celestones to attempt to enchant.

Now were at the bottom where you see another box with an item ive put in. That is an TerraMalefic Stone/Tisha stone. You can buy them from the item mall for 50 coins/60 silver each and when your enchant fails it will instead only lose one enchant. Normally, you would lose all of them.

Once you get all the stuff you need in place click Refine at the bottom. In the box above, it will show you if it succeeded or failed.

Congratulations, you now know how to enchant.

Wondering what my results were? I used 20 of the mirage stones, it worked 3 times. The rest failed.

To know what enchant you got up to, it will have a +x at the end. X being the enchant level.

When it’s successful you get another star right? Or what do you get?

You get a +1 on the item name.
The star is just due to my HH axes ^^

note that the higher the weapon rank goes the harder for each successive enchanting is done. Dragon Pearls can save the trouble but they came with a price that not everyone can afford.

An equipment can be enchanted to max +12 FYI. It would cost around 3-4k USD to just get a piece of equipment to +12 depending on your luck you can save a bit but the cost is still huge.

Suggesting following enchantment per level stage:

60+: +1 is enough honestly. Not enchanting is also fair enough.
    70+: weapon +2~3 ,armor +2
    80+: weapon +4~5, armor +4
    90+: weapon +5~8, armor +5~8
    99+: weapon +8~9, armor +8

So are we talking having to spend REAL money as in lots of it to get leet gear. Or can you do fine with just whaever great stuff you find/make/trade for. I am not neccesarily opposed to spending a few dollars but I was not expecting to doll out an entire months salary to this game.

Not necessary. As the game progresses and daily quests like Magic cube etc started to appear you will mostly earn 500k-1m experience points around lv80+ and 2m per hour depending on your class. classes like wizards can earn faster when they are lv90+, and so you will want to consider to use the money earned to buy the Dragon Pearls for enhancing without spending cash since Dragon Pearls are only available by cash.

However this will be extremely slow though. A +5 dragon pearl will need a total of 141 +1 dragon pearls. You will want to compare how much each +1 dragon pearl cost if you buy it via cash or gold. In other words to get strong you don’t need to spend much, but to get uber you need to spend loads.:)

yeah, what’s the bonus? You told us HOW to do it, but WHAT is the benefit? As far as I know, armor gets a +HP stat added at top (in white, right under it’s main stat). My lvl 4 armor got +15HP and my lvl 5 amor got +16HP after I did a +1 enchant. Weapons seem to get about the same added to attack. So, it seems like a socket + soulgem is cheaper yes? anyone with very high lvl weapons/armor care to comment?

Bonuses are exponential I believe. So a +12 item would give more than 2x the amount of hp a +6 item gives. Upgrading an item just once would be less effective than soulstones yes, but keep in mind that you’re not limited to one or the other, you can upgrade an item and socket it.

    Anyway…
    Weapons: +Attack
    Armor: +HP
Necklaces/Waist Adorns: +Defense (The type of defense +’d depends on the type of defense it gives in the first place. If it adds dodge, +’ing it will give it more dodge, if it adds p.def, +’ing it will give more p.def, etc.)
Rings: +Defense (The type of defense depends on the ring. If it’s a phys attack ring, you’ll get +p.def, if it’s a magic attack ring, you’ll get +elemental defense).

The higher the rank of the equipment the difference is more obvious than ever. you will not be able to see the difference with +1. Example rank 10 armor only adds 27 HP when you +1. But the difference is more obvious when you got a +8 or something, that adds up to 300-400 HP.
