Your Favorite Animes
Here, you explain your favorite animes (no more than 5) in detail.
i WILL delete posts like
1. p0ketmanz
i liek it cuz itz gud.
be serious about it. explain why you like them, what makes them shine from the rest of the anime out there and provide a picture if possible.
1. Code Geass
absolutely spectacular series. Full of suspense and plot twists. Its definitely worth checking out. This series deals with Lelouch trying to create a world in which is blind and handicapped (can't walk) sister can live in. The obstacles which stand in his way are many and great. Also, CC is the just /orgasm.
2. Zero no Tsukaima
I absolutely love this series. Its got a some comedy, some romance and some action. Season 2 made me cry, only one of two animes that made me cry. Some people didn't like Season 2, but i found it spectacular. <3 The other one was one piece. This anime deals with Louise and her Familiar, Saito.
3. Clannad
OMFG. i know even know where to begin. The anime is about Okazaki trying to help out Nagisa in making a drama club. I found it to be an awesome series. Its got some epic comedy moments, made me laugh my fucking ass off, alot of romance <3, and alot of fappable girls. Definitely one of the best anime series ive ever watched.
4. REC
this anime is not a very long series. Only 9 episodes, each episode only being 10 minutes long. However, This is quite an awesome series considering how much time they had, and how long they had to develop the story. Another romantic comedy, and definitely worth watching if you dont like very long series.
5. Spice and Wolf
Pure Gold. Horo is one of the hottest chicks ever. This story is about a Merchant named Lawrence (lol, cause Japanese people are really called Lawrence.) meeting a fox deity named Horo, and promising to make her to her home in the northern forests. i absolutely LOVE this series. You HAVE to watch it.
Yes, most of the animes i love have fappable characters, but thats besides the point. >___>

GTO and Rurouni Kenshin are really old. If they were remade, then it might be in my top 5.

I don't think they should remake GTO. I know ruroni kenshin is old...wasn't that amazing, the series, but the OVA was amazing for sure, that's why I have it on my top 5.

Oh yay.
1. Mushishi

My favorite because it's different. Different meaning... not your usual lame plot. People get sick in freaky ways(because of mushi or something) and Ginko is basically like a exterminator. So you learn about Mushi and Ginko's past and how he got his white hair ect ect. Sad it was so short >:
1.5
Gundam 00

Mecha <3 and ... lots of guys. I love those huge glowing Gundams which always surprise you in the end with a little something extra again.. and again and again. The way that they were willing to turn themselves into something/an organization that everyone hated was great. Everything had great reason behind it. Betrayal, a freaky multipersonality superhuman experiment dude, a previously brainwashed dude, a machine loving dude.. and the list goes on and on.
2. Soukou no Strain

Hmm... I watched this one a long time ago but something about it made me love it. Might be because Sara(main character) loses her status of an elite military unit and has to work her way back up. Lots of little kids with great IQs and big roles. Mecha <3 and a very futuristic feel.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai

Because it was creepy and the horror made me keep going back for more. Sure! There were some confusing times but a lot made up for it. Even if I felt like I was seeing the same thing over again it was great (:
So far I only have 3.5 favorites.

similar to kardarons list
no particular order though
Code Geass
Good story, plot twists, and C.C. <3
Spice and Wolf
an unusual plot for a show, really, anime throws that kind of thing out the window since you can basically turn ANY idea into an anime and make it work. I like this for reasons I don't know how to explain. Not much action, or very large plot, but its still a really great show, and has great characters. Also Horo is <3 too, and I think voiced as the same person who does C.C in Code geass (bonus points there)
Rurouni Kenshin
I really like the main character, Kenshin (who doesn't). I'm not sure what I think of the plot, but it really doesn't matter to me. Also some light hearted humour as I recall, which balances out the seriousness and talk about killing and not killing and all that. Very enjoyable. kind of old drawing but meh.
H 20 Footprints in the sand
This was really sad series and made me feel emotional . I don't know really what else to say here, because if you've seen it you'll know everything I want to say, and if you havn't, it's not likely i'll be able to convey it at 2:34 in the morning and about to go to bed
I can't really remember any other of my favourites, really. I want to say death note here, but I never saw past the first few eps, since I read the manga by the time I saw the eps and decided to continue in manga form. I probably read manga just as much as I watch anime, so I sometimes forget which is which for different shows/manga (as well as read and watch the same title, sometimes.
